Dedrone First to Offer Compliance with U.S. and E.U. Standards for Remote ID Integration

Exciting news from our portfolio company, Dedrone, as they have just announced that they are the first airspace security provider to offer both U.S. and E.U. drone remote identification.

Remote Identification, or Remote ID, is a requirement for a drone to emit its VIN, location, pilot location, and speed to the outside world – here’s a quick overview from the FAA.

Regulatory requirements have been announced in the U.S. and E.U. Dedrone’s offering is ready for use with Remote ID so that security providers can not only access Remote ID data of authorised, known, or approved drone flights but be able to leverage Dedrone’s system to identify when a drone is unauthorised, or malicious.
