This partnership marks a significant milestone for the future of Pay by Bank. HSBC has been leveraging Token.io‘s open banking infrastructure since 2019, and this investment demonstrates their confidence in transforming payment experiences for both corporates and consumers.

We’re excited to see the company accelerate its mission to make Pay by Bank a mainstream payment method, with HSBC expanding adoption across peer-to-peer payments, account deposits and loan repayments.
